SELENKOR FORTE is a source of selenium, zinc and vitamins C, E and B6 designed to protect the body against oxidative stress, ensure the normal functioning of the thyroid gland, support reproductive health and improve immunity.

PROPERTIES

Selenium is an essential element of the antioxidant system of the human body. It has immunomodulatory properties and participates in the regulation of the thyroid hormones.

Selenium is a component of the glutathione peroxidase, an enzyme that protects the intracellular structures from the action of free radicals. Selenium contributes to the assimilation of iodine and is necessary for the transformation of the thyroid hormone thyroxine (T4) into its more active analogue – triiodothyronine (T3).

Selenium-containing proteins accumulate in the prostate epithelium and the sperm head, thushelping to preserve sperm mobility and contributing to normal spermatogenesis.

When selenium and zinc levels are restored simultaneously, the fertility parameters in women improve.

In pregnancy, selenium is very importantfor the normal development of the foetus. Its deficiency can cause birth defects of the nervous system and hypothyroidism.

Zinc is one of the most important minerals. It has a lot of positive effects on the human body, due to its many functions in the organism. DOSAGE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
