Treatment and prevention of infections caused by Herpes simplex viruses types 1 and 2 and Varicella zoster:

Hematogen works to correct metabolic processes and possesses valuable protein, fats, carbohydrates and minerals in proportions analogous to the composition of human blood. In addition Hematogen contains all the amino acids in a proportion optimal for the human body and promotes healing. This product stimulates the production of blood cells, contributes to the absorption of iron in the intestines, increases hemoglobin content in the blood, improves the morphologic characteristics of the red blood cells and raises the content of the iron storage protein "ferritin" in blood plasma.
